Publication lag is expected
UK police open data is published roughly two months in arrears. A dataset month up to four months behind the current month is normal and is reported as healthy.
Monitoring this endpoint
/api/public/health returns 200 when healthy or degraded and 503 when a dependency is unavailable, so it can be wired directly into an uptime monitor.
