I’ve always enjoyed solving complex problems. In my day job as an aerospace project manager, I work on large-scale programmes where success comes from planning ahead, managing risk, and keeping countless moving parts aligned. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on a golf course!

The idea for Equillis came after I read about the enormous cost of vehicle crime to businesses. Curious to learn more, I spoke to people across the haulage industry and quickly realised the same frustration kept coming up. Too often, operators only find out about incidents after they’ve happened. The information they receive is reactive, fragmented, and rarely presented in a way that helps them make better decisions.

That didn’t make sense to me. Every day, we rely on historical data to make smarter decisions. We use it to forecast the weather, predict traffic, and even calculate insurance premiums. So why are transport operators still relying on yesterday’s crime reports to make today’s routing decisions?

That question became the foundation of Equillis.

I started Equillis with a simple goal: to help transport and fleet operators move from reacting to crime to anticipating it. By turning complex crime data into clear, practical intelligence, Equillis gives businesses the insight they need to make smarter decisions, reduce risk, and stay one step ahead.
